Berkowitz Earl, age 93, of St. Louis Park, passed away on August 24, 2004. He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 68 years, Badonna; daughter & son-in-law, Sandy & Shel Olkon; son, Sam Berkowitz; brother, Daniel Berkowitz; grandchildren, Dr. Howard Fink & wife Stephanie Bell, Deborah Fink, Jeremy Fink & wife Stephanie; as well as numerous adoring relatives & friends. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Rose Berkowitz; son, Howard; brothers, Art, Harold, Mike & Bob; and his sisters, Ethel & Adeline. Earl spent most of his life in Superior, WI where he was a businessman and active member of the community. He spent his retirement in the Twin Cities where he was actively volunteered at Mt. Sinai Hospital & Methodist Hospital and spent many enjoyable hours with his family and friends. Earl was a wonderful role model to many people with his positive attitude, love of people & life, patience, sense of humor, and helping others in need. He will be deeply missed by many, but his numerous legacies will live on. Services will be held on Thurs. (TODAY), Aug. 26, 1 PM at Temple Israel, 2324 Emerson Ave. S., Mpls. Shiva will be held on Aug. 26 & 29, 7 PM, at Knollwood Place, 3630 Phillips Parkway, St. Louis Park. Memorial donations preferred to the Ronald McDonald House. Deceased Name: Berkowitz Badonna

Berkowitz Badonna, age 93, of St. Louis Park, passed away on November 17, 2004. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 69 years, Earl; her parents, Jenny and Sam Barkovech; her son, Howard; her brothers, Leo and Hymie; and her sisters, Ethel, Ruth and Hannah. Badonna is survived by her loving family, including her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Shel Olkon; son, Sam Berkowitz; grandchildren, Dr. Howard Fink (Stephanie Bell), Debby Fink, Jeremy Fink (Stephanie); special niece, Millie Weinberg; as well as numerous adoring relatives and friends. Badonna was a wonderful role model to her family. Her smiling face, patience, kindness, and love will be deeply missed. Services will be held Friday, November 19, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Temple Israel, 2324 Emerson Avenue South, Minneapolis. Shiva will be held Sunday, Nov. 21st and Monday, Nov. 22nd at 7:00 PM at Laurel Hill West, 6051 Laurel Ave., Golden Valley. Memorial donations are preferred to the Ronald McDonald House.
